What we collect, and what we do not.

The short version

This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies and loads nothing from a third party. The only personal data we hold is what you type into the contact form, and the database copy of it deletes itself after 30 days.

Who is responsible

Synexis Life Sciences LLC is the controller of any personal data collected through this site. For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete your data, write to info@synexisls.com.

What we collect, and only when you send it

Nothing is collected by browsing. If you submit the contact form we receive:

Name, work email, company	Required, so we can reply and know who we are replying to.
Role	Optional.
Your message	Optional, and free text. Please do not include patient data, study data or anything confidential in it.
IP address and timestamp	Recorded with the submission, and used to make automated abuse of the form harder.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry you chose to send us. You can object at any time, and if you do we will delete what we hold.

How long we keep it

• The database record deletes itself after 30 days. It exists only so an enquiry is not lost if a notification fails to reach us, and that is knowable within days.
• The notification email and chat message do not. Each submission sends a copy to our Microsoft 365 mailbox and to an internal Teams channel, and those copies persist under our normal business record-keeping until deleted. If you ask us to erase your data, we delete those too.
• Encrypted database backups roll on a 35 day window, so a record can survive in backup for a short period after the live copy has gone.

Who else can see it

• Amazon Web Services hosts this site and the contact form, in the United States.
• Microsoft carries the notification email and the Teams message.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. There is nobody else in the chain: no analytics provider, no marketing platform, no CRM.

Where it is stored

In the United States. If you are in the UK or the EU, that is a transfer outside your region. It is covered by the safeguards our providers maintain for exactly this: both Amazon Web Services and Microsoft are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and also offer the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The alternative would be not replying to you.

Tracking, and the absence of it

No cookies are set by this site. No analytics or tag manager runs on it. No fonts, scripts or images load from another domain, which you can confirm in your browser's network tab. The consequence is that we cannot tell who visited, only who wrote to us.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of what we hold about you
• correct it if it is wrong
• delete it
• restrict what we do with it while a question about it is resolved
• stop entirely, by objecting to us relying on legitimate interests

Write to info@synexisls.com and we will act within 30 days. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason for a deletion or objection request.

We have not appointed a data protection officer. Nothing we do requires one: we process a small amount of business contact data, no special categories, and no data about children.

If you are in the UK or the EU you may also complain to your national data protection authority without contacting us first.

Giving us your details is entirely voluntary

Nothing obliges you to fill the form in, and no law requires us to collect any of it. The only consequence of not sending it is that we have no way to reply to you. Email works just as well.

No automated decision-making, and no profiling

Nothing you send is fed into automated decision-making or profiling. A person reads every enquiry and a person answers it.

We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal there is nothing for it to act on here, because none of the processing it governs takes place.

Children

This site is aimed at people working in clinical development. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will change the date at the top of it. The retention period stated here is enforced in the system itself rather than by policy, so if the number here changes, the system changed with it.
